To manage devices in your care home, head to the 'Devices' tab under the 'Team' section of the Care Office and click on the three dots for the device you want to manage. From the drop-down menu of options, click on 'Manage'.

On the device management screen, you as the admin or manager, have the ability to change a device's name, approve or block them.

To change the name of a device, click on the edit icon next to the device name, once you have made your changes you would then press the tick button.

How can I view who has signed into my home?

To view who has signed into your home, click the 'view all device sign-ins' button under the device section.

This will then pull up a list of team members who have signed in, this will give you information such as the team member's name, the sign-in time and date, device name and location (depending on if they have given permission for this). You can also filter this by date, team member and device name.

How do I block a device?

You can block an unwanted device from the devices tab, by clicking on the three dots and then pressing block. This will then appear under the blocked tab.

Team members whose devices are blocked will not be able to access the carer app and will be prompted to contact their manager.

Admins are able to re-approve a blocked device from under the blocked tab by pressing on the three dots and pressing approve.

What do the different device statuses mean?

Pending: Pending statuses are those that are waiting for approval from a manager/ admin in the care office. Carers will be unable to access the app until they have been approved.

Blocked: Blocked status means that these devices have been blocked by an admin/ manager in the care office and team members will be unable to log onto the carer app with this device.

Approved: Approved statuses are those devices that have been approved by a manager/ admin to access the carer app.
