How do I approve a new device for my care home?

Understand how to grant access to your home as a manager or admin member of staff

As a manager or admin, you have the ability to approve devices for access to your home. When a new carer logs into the Carer app for the first time, they will be met with a form to request approval for their device.

All admins will receive a device approval email with the device name and may see a note to give further information on who the carer is.

In the Care Office, you'll need to navigate to the Teams tab > Devices then go to the 'Pending' tab under 'Devices' and click the three dots next to the name of the carer to either approve or block a device.

Please note: Admins can only block/approve devices for one home at a time - use manage device to manage the device's across multiple homes.

Once a request is actioned, it will now appear under the relevant tab with the option to approve or block.
