You can ask the Carer App to read out logs you or your colleagues created. This functionality supports both carers and clients who may have bad eyesight or dyslexia, who are illiterate, or who find spoken language easier to understand.
You can also use this feature to involve service users in their care by letting them listen to the logs that have been created about their care on the app.
Step 1: Click on the log you want to be played and hold
Click and hold the log you want to listen to. After a few seconds a play button should appear in the right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Click 'Read out'
Click the play button and your app will begin reading out the log for you. Make sure to have your phone volume on loud to hear the audio.
Once the log has been fully read you will be able to use the app as normal again.
