How do I set a preferred term for clients?

Set a preferred term for your service users.

Every care service calls their users by different names, some use the term "service users", some "supported persons" and some "clients".

If you want to amend the name of your service users, this needs to be done through the Care Office.

Step 1 - Open settings

You can access the Care Office settings by clicking on the little gear icon in the right top corner of your screen.

Step 2 - Open your preferences

Open the sub-menu 'Preferences' in the Care Office settings on the left-hand side.

Step 3 - Choose your preferred term

Choose your preferred term and then press the "Save Changes" button on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
