Manage your team members contracts in the Care Office

You can now manage your team members' contracts directly in the Care Office. This guide will walk you through setting up contract types and assigning these contracts to your team members' profiles.


Setting Up Contract Types

To get started with managing contracts, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Preferences Section:

    • Navigate to the Care Office.

    • Click on the Rostering drop-down menu.

    • Select Contracts.

  2. Add and Set Up New Contract Types:

    • From the Contracts page, you can add new contract types such as Zero Hour, Fixed Part Time, and Full Time.


Setting Up Contracts on Team Members' Profiles

Once you have set up the relevant contract types for your service, you can assign these contracts to your team members. Hereโ€™s how:

  1. Navigate to the Team Section:

    • Go to the Team section in the Care Office.

  2. Assign Contracts to Team Members:

    • Click on the team member whose contract information you want to add or update.

    • On the left-hand side, select Contract and Preferences.

    • Press Edit to modify the contract details.


Adding Contract Details

When adding contract details, you will see the contract types you set up under preferences available for selection. Here are the details you can add:

  1. Contract Type:

    • Select the appropriate contract type (Zero Hour, Fixed Part Time, Full Time) from the drop-down menu under Contract Information.

  2. Contract Hours:

    • Enter the number of contract hours per week.

  3. Additional Contract Notes:

    • Add any relevant notes regarding the contract.

  4. Additional Information:

    • You can also add more information such as Overtime details and the type of transport the team member uses.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage and update your team members' contracts, ensuring all relevant details are captured and easily accessible.


Updating Service User Funding Details in the Care Office

We've made some important updates to how you manage service user funding in the Care Office - here are the the key updates:

  1. Improved Care Packages: Every service userโ€™s care package has been enhanced. You can now view the total hours allocated and see a detailed split by funding type.

  2. New Location for Funding Information: Previously, funding details were located under "General Information." You will now find them under "Care Package and Patterns" in the left-hand side menu.
