What are Alerts?
Alerts let you flag significant changes in a resident's condition or situation and keep them visible to everyone involved in their care. For example, you might add an alert if a service user has a dangerous dog at their property, or if there's been a notable change in their health.
Active alerts appear on the resident's profile in both the Care Office and the mobile app, so the whole team stays informed at a glance.
Adding and managing Alerts in the Care Office
You'll find a new Alerts section within each resident's profile in the Care Office. From here you can:
Add a new alert
Update an existing alert to keep it current
View all active alerts for that resident
See the below video on how to add an alert via the Care Office, as well as view and manage them:
Alerts on the mobile app
Carers can add and view alerts on the go from the resident's profile in the mobile app - helpful for flagging something you spot during a visit, without waiting to get back to the office.
See the below video on how to add an alert via the mobile app, as well as view and manage them:
Alert history
A full history of each alert is kept automatically, giving you a complete record for audits and inspections.
A note on the Homepage: To avoid confusion, alerts shown on the Homepage are now called Incident Alerts. These relate to incidents, and are separate from the resident Alerts described in this article.
