In the Care Office, you can view a service user's goals via their profile or in the goal dashboard and management tab. You can set goals to auto-link to a log entry.

How do I add a Goal?

  • Select the service user for whom you want to add a goal. You can find this in the Care Planning section on the left-hand side of the Service User's profile. Click on ‘Goals’ and locate the blue ‘Add goal’ button on the right.

  • When you've clicked add goal, you'll then be prompted to start off by adding the goal title, description and measure of success.

  • Set the priority level and goal duration, this allows you to add the start date and when the goal should be achieved.

  • Set milestones to track the steps that will be taken to achieve this goal.

  • Add any relevant care plans and documents associated with this goal.

  • You can now auto-link goals to logs, just select the log type you want to link to the goal in the drop-down and these will auto-link in the carer app.

How do I review a Goal?

There are two ways you can review a goal in the Care Office.

  • Option 1: Go to Goals Management under the Reports tab, here you can filter by Service User, Goal and Review status and select the goal you want to review.

  • Option 2: Go to your list of Service Users and click on the relevant Service User, click on Care Planning, and choose the Goal you want to review.

Once you've done this, you'd want to press review in the top right corner, scroll down to edit the goal progress, add any additional comments and then choose the next review date!

Goal Dashboard

You can access the Goals Dashboard from the main Care Office Dashboard and click on the ' Goals Dashboard' button. Or you can access this by going to Reports and clicking on the Goals drop-down.

In the Goals Dashboard, it will automatically filter within a 6-month period but you can change this using the date filters, you can also filter by Service User.

You'll be able to view goal status and other statistics as well as the percentage added ( the amount of progress added) in the period you filtered by. This can then be downloaded as a PDF.

To get the percentage of active service users goals to 100% all Service Users must have at least 1 goal in progress.

How do I track goals in the Care Office?

You can track the progress of your Goals by going either to the Goals Dashboard or going to the Goals Management tab. In the Goals Management tab, you can filter goal status, review status and service user.
