In the Carer app, you can view a service user's goals via their profile. You can link goals to a log entry, review a goal at any time, change the status of a milestone, and view the timeline of a service user's goal.
How do I link a goal in the CA
In the Carer app, you can create logs that are linked to goals for a specific service user.
Create a log from the home screen by clicking on the service user profile and choosing the appropriate log type
Before saving the log, tap the Link a Goal option to view a drop-down menu of all goals that have been created
Check the box for the goal you would like to link to the log
Click the blue Add a Goal button and then the blue Save Log button to lock in your changes
How do I review a goal?
At any time you can review a goal and add the service user's signature to mark as reviewed.
First head to the service user profile and click on the Goals tab
Click on the Goal you are reviewing
Click the blue Review button at the bottom of the screen
Press on the blue Confirm button to proceed
Review the different sections and to complete the review click the blue Finalise review button at the bottom of the screen
Goal timeline
You can review a goal's timeline at any time, and you can use the different filters if you are looking for specific information about the service user's goal.
Head to the service user profile and click on the Goals tab
Click on the Goal you are reviewing
Scroll to the Timeline section
You can filter the start date, the end date and you can use the filter to view specific logs on the Goal Timeline
View auto-linked goals
When you are recording a daily log in the Carer App you can see if a log is auto-linked to this log type.
Complete your daily log as normal from the home screen by choosing the log type
Before you save the log you will see the name of the goal which is auto-linked in a grey circle right below the Link a Goal button
If you want to detach the goal from this log you can click the X button to remove it or move to step 4 if you want it attached to the goal
Click the blue Save Log button
Changing milestone status
You can change the status of any milestone from within the goal itself.
Click on the milestone you want to update
Choose the status you want to change it to by ticking the circle e.g. In Progress/Completed/Paused/Not Started
Press the blue Confirm button
How do I track goals in the app?
If you want to track goals in the app you can view the percentage completed for each goal in the service user profile, in their goals section.
Each goal will have the percentage listed on the left-hand side to easily identify how much they have accomplished to date
If you click on the goal you can view the percentage of the current progress at the top of the screen
