What is the Family Portal?
The Family Portal add-on is designed to help people outside of your care service stay in touch with their loved ones via the Log my Care app. It creates transparency by allowing family members to access certain care notes and logs recorded by your team.
What will family members be able to see?
Below are the different pages that family members will see in the app.
Home page
Family members will have a list of their relative's daily logs. (This can be customised by you to control which types of logs are shared)
Client page
The client's D.O.B. and location.
Care-related information: allergies, medical history
Documents, care plans, risk assessments and medications (this can be customised to be turned on or off)
Profile
Manage their subscription in the app
