How do I create a care log?

For us, daily notes = care logs

The most important part of the app is being able to add care logs (daily notes) for your clients. Our app helps to speed up the time taken to write a care log and even adds information into the right charts for you.

Step 1: Log into the app and click on the user you wish to log for

Step 2 : You'll next have a choice of 8 categories which are in line with CQC regulations, please select the one which is most relevant to the care you are providing

Step 3: Each category contains a number of different items, each with its own icon. Pick the one you're looking for. If you can't find it, you can scroll down further and write a custom log

Step 4: The app will now ask you a few questions to help tailor the log. Tap or answer your way through the questions to get to the end of the log.

Step 5 : Once these questions have been answered you will have the ability to

  • Add an additional note (if you have more information to add)

  • Flag for handover (this is a Pro feature)

  • Add a witness (for a care log where two signatures are needed)

  • Link a goal (Outstanding feature)

  • Save the log (when you're happy)

After clicking save, the log will be saved to that client's timeline. For more information on how to view logs please click here.

Auto-locking in the app

One of our security measures for the app is auto-locking. This essentially means that your current session will timeout after 10 minutes of inactivity, meaning you will need to re-enter your pin.

Important note: When your session times out, your progress will not be saved, so please ensure to save any progress where possible.
